Old Woman with Basket - Vintage

We've come across many Claude Carbonell carved figurines, however this particular one has a positive female attachment. This is a ONE OF A KIND carved figure from France and stands 10" high. The glass dome and felt covered wooden base is included as shown to help preserve this object.

There is a gentle, happy, elderly woman attached to this item. It's been described that the haunting of this object is actually protective to whomever owns it at the time, as symbolized by the strand of garlic which the woman holds. We have personally witnessed, and have been told with this item, footsteps being heard within the residence this inhabits.
