Corn Husk Doll - 1950's

This gorgeous vintage corn husk doll Stands 10" tall.

A warm, almost glowing energy was read from from this beautiful, extremely well preserved item.

What is somewhat unique about this doll, is that it has a visible face. Legend has it that vanity is why most corn husk dolls do not have a face.  That is one reason we feel the warm energy from this unusual corn husk doll.

This was created by an artist as a teaching example for one of her students named Sarah. The young teenage student was extremely grateful for the gift, however she was never able to finish her own doll since she was tragically hit by a car and did not survive. Her lovely, gentle soul often comes around this magnificent object.

This item is in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age, and is rare to find a corn husk figure this old, which still has husk hair in such good condition. The detachable husk headpiece is also in great condition.

The glass dome and felt covered wood base (as shown) are also included to help preserve this artistically, well made delicate item.
